Review on πŸš— Reliable Fuel Level Sending Unit Replacement for Nissan Frontier Xterra 1999-2004 - 25060-4S426 by Aaron Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Positive feedback with FYI

Worked well to replace my fuel sensor assembly. The connectors on top were corroded, preventing my 2000 Xterra from starting (this took a long time to diagnose!). This part worked as a perfect replacement. It seemed easier to install and remove the fuel tank than the OEM part (don't know why. Maybe my float arm was bent on my old one?). The main difference I noticed is that the plastic tubes that you attach the hoses to have an edge on each of them (where you put a colored tie to attach them). The rib on the new part is square and slightly thicker. The ridge of the OEM part is thinner and slightly rounded. This made it harder to attach the hoses to the new one than it was to put the old one on and off. Luckily this kit included spare clips as I had damaged a few. We sprayed WD40 to help them slide. The good news: once they are there, they are definitely safe! The bad news is that it takes a little more muscle power to get them in place. Otherwise no complaints! The new gasket was great along with other parts.
