Warped metals in kitchen and dining area

This item is not balanced. The metals on the underside are curved and won't stand up unaided. You can see the uneven gap between my countertop and the back bottom metal that causes it to warp (the owl is right up against the wall). This is a nice product but we are returning it for security reasons.
