Review on Furinno Turn-N-Tube Rounded Corner TV Entertainment Center: Sleek Espresso/Black Design by Dion Madison

I was really looking forward to this as I needed a TV stand with lots of shelves for electronics. Unfortunately, the first shelf pulled out of the box (Shelf D, which is the larger bottom shelf) had STRONG damage (torn edge, exposed pulp or whatever; the 2nd picture shows it from a distance in relation to most of the board). The other shelf (corner shelf B which is one of the 2 left shelves) also had some damage (mostly chipped but not as severe as the damage on shelf D. Also the large shelves are not wide enough for my TV, which is about 42 "". I ended up removing the top board and 4 "short" bars (holding the top board in place) and used the top plugs to cover the protruding bars. This modification works so far. The legs rest on the two smaller boards which together give me room for my extra electronics; not worth the hassle of disassembling, repackaging and returning.
