The pants I received are 70% cotton and 30% viscose, which is different from the listing, but I prefer a denser cotton blend for more breathability. I have tall skinny boys and these pants fit the bill, they are slim 7. The lighter material makes good spring/summer/fall pants. I would most likely go for something thicker in a veneer or layer with Heattech leggings. My kids are crazy about soft pants and avoid jeans so it's nice to find a pair that doesn't fall off. They survived our wash well.
