Of all the products we've purchased to keep my Blue Heeler compound from pulling as much while walking, this is our number one spot. We tried first a soft line and then a front clip harness but she hated the soft line and we couldn't find the right size front clip. So we tried the slack line method with our previous line, but overall it was terrible: the handle was so slippery and the material wasn't strong enough. As a result, walking with him was still problematic due to poor design. However, with this leash I feel like I have more control over my dog! Using a second handle and the loose leash method helped my dog learn to be by my side after a few walks! Even if I don't use the second handle, my dog no longer twitches like mad to get scent. The handles are soft and the grip feels soft so your hand doesn't get chafed when your dog starts to pull (like mine did from another leash). the stuff is there. I hope this continues for a while because I am so happy with how enjoyable walking my dog is.
