Review on Banana Craze: Revolutionary Kitchen Tool to Core & Fill Bananas in Their Peels by Mariah Perry

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Didn't work in the kitchen and dining room

I had high hopes of eating Nutella bananas. I was so excited when I got this that I went straight out and bought some bananas. The included instructions were just pictures and my mind couldn't comprehend them for a frustratingly long time. Little did I know this thing had been falling apart for the longest time. After watching a few videos of how it's done, I was able to core the banana and pop it in to pump up with Nutella. The banana has a fairly thin core, but it quickly broke in half when I tried to "straighten" it following the directions. I tried to do it carefully and slowly but I ruined two good bananas. I tried squirting Nutella into the last broken one, but it ended up clogging the whole inside of the thing and I couldn't get a single drop into the banana. The final straw was the inability to fully clean the core. There was no way to get all the banana pieces out. In the end I just threw the whole thing away. It would be great if it actually worked.

Pros
  • House and kitchen
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
