Review on Dorman 76865 18 1 5 Antenna by Leo Fairchild

After riding it for over two years (so yes I tested it and then a little) I noticed this one has a lot after switching to a smaller antenna from interference and low signal levels. Antennas must be tuned to the frequency they will be operating at, and they all have bandwidth (the range above and below the tuned frequency where they can operate effectively). Being close to another station's antenna means the antenna is not properly tuned for FM usage (maybe the radio is better but has never been used). Since this antenna is not up to 5/32 but up to 1/8 wavelength long, next time we will try a 15 inch antenna.
