SENTRO MACHINE - This machine is similar to the high quality Addi machine but is a quarter of the price. It's not exactly the same quality as the Addi but close, so good value for a machine of this type. Sentro with 22 stitches produces 2.5 to 3 inch diameter tubing. 25 rows make a very small baby hat - for premature babies. It turns out a very thin scarf whistle, suitable for a student. This is the perfect size for adult fingerless gloves or children's leg warmers. I wouldn't try straight courses until you learn how to cast on skipped stitches. I recommend worsted yarn or two skeins of fine weighted yarn. Sport weight yarn makes knitting so easy and looks great. which is unsuitable for babies' cold heads. The 22-stitch SENTRO HAS NO ROW COUNTER. The 44-stitch machine produces 7" tube (sports yarn) or 8" tube (worsted yarn). It has a row counter which is very handy as it takes more than 100 rows to make a hat. There are almost no instructions for the 22-stitch Sentro Loom; The instructions for the 44 stitch loom are pretty good. However, I recommend Youtube videos on the Addi machine such as Heather Moore Makes or SkacelKnitting. Please note that the yarn mast is small. The most popular way to achieve constant yarn tension is to lay the yarn on the floor in a loose heap and place the knitting machine on a counter, so that gravity keeps the tension constant.
