Review on πŸ›οΈ Aria Twin Self-Inflating Air Mattress - ConstantComfort Built-in Pump for Uninterrupted Sleep Comfort and Selected Firmness all Night Long by Muleme Bollinger

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Better than a budget inflatable, but YMMV at a price (see details). Conditionally recommended

Even if you have a guest room, sometimes you need extra seating. I don't run a hotel so options are a pull out sofa, futon or air mattress. I've already done the inflatable route, but it was drugstore cheap. When I saw the product page for the Aria Twin air mattress with built in ConstantComfort pump, I thought it was an option worth exploring again. My previous experience consisted of a mattress with a slow leak, a slow pump, and a poorly designed mattress pad. Aria seems to be better. That's how it should be, right? After all, it costs twice as much as some air mattresses that are twice as large. First statement: The mattress inflates in three minutes. I didn't use a stopwatch, but the inflation time seemed to be within the normal range. Second statement: There are three different comfort settings. This is partly correct, since this is realized via a manometer. Apparently they assigned soft, medium and hard pressure values. It works, but I don't feel like the settings are really that different. Third statement: A quiet secondary pump maintains the selected pressure. A pressure gauge or pressure switch is not uncommon on air mattresses, so the idea of turning on a pump to maintain pressure is not new. I can't be sure it's really the second pump as opposed to just running the pump to pump at a lower speed. The bed is pretty good. The perimeter rib solves a major problem that I think can arise with a small mattress, which is that the edges tend to bunch up a bit under pressure. The raised ridge increases stability so you don't end up on the floor when you get to the edge of the mattress. A storage bag is handy, but you might want to keep an eye on how the item folds up first. These things are like paper maps in that they are difficult to return to their original position. As far as air beds go, this is a pretty good model. However, if you are looking for the cheapest option, this is not it. Conditionally recommended. ❀️ If you found my review helpful, please let Revain know by clicking the info button below.
