Love hardware. Beautiful and high quality. BUT you must read all the comments and think things through before trying to do it yourself. I don't consider myself an absolute amateur, I built a lot and even changed engines in cars, but it was quite difficult. I recently built a large deck and this is the final part. It took a week of trial and error to get it right. Lots of beer too, in the hot sun. I ordered 20 packs and now have to order 5 more due to bad travel. You can't order them individually so it's not great but at least the customer service was responsive. Drill your messages into the press. Drill holes straight and with a suitable drill - these turnbuckles don't like crooked holes. If you are using a 4x4 I would consider other options as they require trimming with a dremel or saw and are solid stainless steel. So be aware that trimming them will take a long time. You can waste what my wife wanted, but it's more work and complicates almost everything. The adjustment wasn't a problem for me like others, but I have a pair that is too long to put on fully, so I'm redoing it. You look nice, but boy was that a lot of work.
