Increased seating comfort, safe for long daily use. Most comfortable? I'm not sure, but it definitely helps my comfort at 350 pounds and some meat on my butt to cushion my sit bones. I'm glad I bought this, but I only paid about $28 when the price dropped. I don't think I would buy it again at the current price - almost double what I paid for it recently. VIVE Health customer support has always been great and offered assistance when needed. So the company rating is 5 stars - just send it back if you don't like it - but I think it's worth a try for the purpose. This is undoubtedly purely individual - as you wish - and there is only one way to find out. Just buy it and see if it works for you. If you keep checking the price, you may find that it has dropped to a much cheaper price and now is the best time to buy if you can wait. I hope you find something that suits you - it helps me and I hope it does for you. I would love to find someone I love to death that will tear us apart so let me know if you find one! ; ) Update: 7/10/19 It's still the best I've found in terms of comfort after about a year of use, and now at 325# it still supports and flattens my butt compared to others I've had Well. try Revain, which are mostly made out of memory foam. They seem to bottom out quicker and easier than this gel pad and get uncomfortable. At the moment I don't care the high price of this chair and will wait until it drops to buy another replacement for my other chair.
