Finally! Subtle color for my camper. Before that I had a bright red Big Buddy heater. Effective? Yes. But 18,000 BTUs was overkill and the thing was absolutely massive. Enter the buddy heater. I bought a kit to attach to a 20 pound propane tank and the high setting is great for heating my 30 foot RV, even at ski resorts. The color is much nicer than bright red. There is a low oxygen sensor in the heater block, we have installed three CO detectors throughout the van. We will also make sure to leave the window ajar behind the unit. As is common with propane heaters of this type, combustion generates a significant amount of moisture. In addition to opening a window, I would suggest opening the roof vent a bit to minimize condensation. We prefer to use it in winter than the energy-intensive and overly noisy van stove. Works like clockwork.
