The latches disengaged at 100 mph, the hood popped open and shattered the windshield, glass blown in my eyes and I couldn't see on a dual carriageway trying to watch slow down, hoping I don't run into anyone. Extremely dangerous, I was lucky and was able to exit without hitting anything. The latches were still securely fastened to the hood and the bolts were still securely fastened to the core support, literally just let go.
