Not easily penetrated the skin, so some skin had to be left.

This doesn't work as expected. It did not penetrate the skin easily, so part of the skin still had to be cut off. To start, he put a double in the kiwi and broke it up a bit. I think it's fine if it's a smoothie, but I wouldn't recommend it if you plan on eating it in chunks.
