Review on MICHELIN Pilot Alpin 4 235/35 R20 92W Winter by Franciszka Zamska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

I am writing from my first impressions as soon as the first normal layer of snow covered the streets of the capital. car A4 allroad 2022, B9 body, first winter, respectively, just bought tires MICHELIN Pilot Alpin pa4 r18/245/45. Fundamentally chose non-thorns, tk. according to personal observations, absolutely most of the time the wheels spend on the pavement. Even in winter, even outside the city, and on the Hong Kong-St. Petersburg highway, and even in Finland. Not to mention Hong Kong itself. On full drive, I think the spikes are not relevant at all. The previous car is also A4 allroad, the previous body is B8. There was a Hakka R2 Velcro. And I will tell you, Dear, the first impressions of MICHELIN in comparison with the R2 are a complete delight. Unlike the Hakka, when you feel like you had to wear bulky rubber boots, with the Alpin PA4 you feel like in a very comfortable, crisp and grippy sports shoe. Haven't ridden on spikes for a long time, but when braking on ice, there is a complete feeling of spikes. On the turn on the rolled snow, you involuntarily want to add gas, the car is so confidently holding. In general, a complete delight. The new ultra Quattro all-wheel drive and such up-to-date tires make it possible to treat the long 2022 winter with impatience and anticipation, hoping that some snow will still fall to us .

Pros
  • On all-wheel drive, the Quattro confidently holds the road on packed snow in a deliberately aggressive turn. Brakes on ice very confidently. Naturally not noisy. Soft but clear. A very inspiring tire. I compare with Hakka R2. Day and night in favor of MICHELIN.
Cons
  • Haven't noted any yet
