This tool is not suitable for removing those ugly plastic clamps on Ford heater hoses where they connect to the heater core. Firstly the rod is too long to fit between the battery and the firewall, I had to use a hacksaw and cut it in half! Second, the large end is too big to squeeze the clamps and the smaller end is too small to fit in the slots. I couldn't tell because the length didn't allow to reach the heater core nipples. Choose something else. This tool is presented in a false light. Will not work on 2008 Ford F-350
