Doesn't work on my F150

This tool turned up with a Google search for "2010 F150 Heater Hose Release Tool". So I bought it. Both ends were too big for the cranes to push. The tool is made of 1/4 inch material. Therefore it is not flexible. You can't change it unless you grind it down or heat it. Replace entire hose Tool will be returned to Revain.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Modern

Expensive and I didn't need it

I bought this tool and I don't need it. I just forgot to ever bring it back and it's really just getting in the way now. I didn't need it to remove the hose from my GMC Sierra. It's also very expensive in my opinion. Seems to be great quality but I feel it should be for a disposable at this price point.

Pros
  • AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT: The heater hose release tool saves time and energy on difficult repairs; Use this tool instead of hands
Cons
  • There is error

Not suitable for Ford heater hoses.

This tool is not suitable for removing those ugly plastic clamps on Ford heater hoses where they connect to the heater core. Firstly the rod is too long to fit between the battery and the firewall, I had to use a hacksaw and cut it in half! Second, the large end is too big to squeeze the clamps and the smaller end is too small to fit in the slots. I couldn't tell because the length didn't allow to reach the heater core nipples. Choose something else. This tool is presented in a false light…

Pros
  • DUAL USE: The disconnect tool is double ended to work with 5/8" or 3/4" quick connectors; Heater hose release tool offers universal use
Cons
  • Small

Doesn't fit perfectly but works

I used this tool to disconnect the heater hoses on my 1998 Ford F-150. I needed a smaller end. After some struggle with the tool, I just resigned myself to being unlucky and used a pair of small needle nose pliers instead. After removing the quick connector I used the tool to see if that could do it, and it would be possible, although it could rupture the pipes on the heater core with the pressure I had to use. Nice tool for an old heater core, but I wouldn't recommend using it for anything you

Pros
  • DURABLE METAL: The metal construction of the heater hose cutting tool offers a longer service life than plastic cutting tools; Durable Tool
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Solid workmanship, but didn't suit me.

I purchased this tool to remove heater hoses from a 2001 F250 diesel truck. I will praise this tool as it is very durable. He probably weighs as much as 1-2 pounds. *First issue: The tool is too long (about 28 inches) and hits the turbocharger tubes, making it difficult to install at the right angle to insert into the bracket. First Modification: After a lot of tipping and fidgeting, I cut the tool in half to make it easier to manipulate. *Second issue: Shafts are very thick (about 1/8 inch). I
