My daughter's 2007 Honda CRV had intermittent starting problems and had to maneuver the key before it would start. She could also hear the buzzing. She was offered $1,000 to replace the entire key and switch assembly and program two new keys. The starter motor was replaced a year ago so by browsing YouTube I found a possible solution by just replacing the ignition switch. I bought this one because it's double the price of some of the others, but I love that it's made in Taiwan and not China. 30 minutes to disassemble the steering console and replace the part. The only tool needed was a cheap 90 degree Phillips head screwdriver to get at a hard to reach screw. There is a video on YouTube showing a derailleur replacement on a 2008 Honda CRV. The Honda starts like a champ every time without fiddling with the key.
