The product is good. No problems since replacement.

The product looks and fits exactly like the original Honda from my 7th generation accord. Made in Taiwan. The installation was uncomplicated. Just follow some YouTube videos. The hardest part was trying not to start the taps holding the steering column shroud. Be careful when installing and you'll be fine.

Works as it should. Best in Ignition Starter

My old one lost contact a bit causing low voltage so I took it apart and cleaned the contacts which worked for about a year before the relay started buzzing again so I figured I'd replace it before it became a problem. The new one seems stiffer when I turn the key, I think the spring is getting weak. In any case, so far it seems to be working as it should.

Pros
  • Handy Thing
Cons
  • No Automatic

Fixed a humming noise from the steering column in 05 Acura TSX

Sometimes there was a humming noise from the steering column when I tried to start the car. I've had good luck with this brand in the past, it seems to be a little better quality than some other brands. This fixed the problem and was pretty easy to install. Removing the old switch and putting in the new one was a little tricky, but not that bad.

Cons
  • Nothing here

The switch arrived as expected, it plugged right in.

Switch arrived as expected, plugged in right where the original factory switch was removed. This new switch solved the "hum" and no starting problem that often occurred when turning the ignition key. After the replacement, nothing buzzes, the car starts every time. It was a little tricky to get at some of the bolts in the steering column. A YouTube video helped.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Speed of operation

Worked great to fix Accord won't start

This ignition switch was purchased for a 2006 Honda Accord. Before the replacement, the car regularly would not start and made a buzzing noise that could be heard under the instrument panel. As a result, the car refused to start at all. Since I had already replaced the starter a year ago, the next logical decision was that the ignition lock was defective. After installing a new switch, the car started every time, which was already two months old at the time of the test report.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons

The product works and was delivered quickly. Thank you

Works perfectly. The block itself is easy to install. After installation, my 2003 Honda Accord started with no rumble. Do-it-yourself work if you are handy. Independent: This unit is installed on the left side of the steering column and therefore requires the removal of the steering column covers. "There were difficulties getting the steering column covers on and off. Maybe it's just me, but they come and go like a puzzle. Mainly because of the covers, the whole job also took about 45 minutes…

Worked great in switches and relays

My daughter's 2007 Honda CRV had intermittent starting problems and had to maneuver the key before it would start. She could also hear the buzzing. She was offered $1,000 to replace the entire key and switch assembly and program two new keys. The starter motor was replaced a year ago so by browsing YouTube I found a possible solution by just replacing the ignition switch. I bought this one because it's double the price of some of the others, but I love that it's made in Taiwan and not China. 30
