Good value for money

When you receive the blocks they are rusty and that is to be expected. I used engine paint to stop the rust before installing the deflectors. I installed them on Long Shots so I had to order 2. Very important, the plastic film is there to prevent fibers from escaping, but the baffles should not be installed with plastic film as it will melt and evaporate. Therefore, you need to use metal ties. Do not remove the plastic wrap immediately. Wearing gloves, unroll the film 1 inch at a time. Set the zip tie to that 1 inch and continue unrolling to install the second zip tie, and so on. Check out the picture I posted to understand better. I saw many questions about the item and its size. Simply put, it has an OD (2" OD which makes it perfect for my straight shot which is 2.1/4" in diameter (see picture). You can install them on any pipe of that size. If your pipe As for the noise level, simply put, when you bought the straight shot set you knew it was going to be loud so there it is no way to make them sound like stock. If you want your bike to be quiet, consider selling his straight shot and getting a stock kit. I used my straight shots with the original baffle. Super loud but way better than empty pipe. The empty pipe just makes the maximum rumble which makes my ride not comfortable.Note that I am using these on a 1500cc Vulcan so it is quite noisy.I am posting too l video before and after so you understand. What hasn't changed. with deflectors? How loud does it get at high revs? These deflectors do nothing at high rpm other than dampen the rear shock you get when you close the throttle. They round off the sound at low revs and when idling. Keep in mind that these baffles have a cap that will stop a full 2.1/4" exhaust so they will slightly impede the exhaust which in turn will give you a stronger pickup and more overall power. I'm happy with the purchase, my bike is still noisy but the sound is less banging and more rounded and controlled. I recommend this product if you want to mute the sound of your bike. You will also hear a pleasant hum as you drive, letting you hear road noise, emergency sirens, and other noises. So these deflectors give you more controlled sounds than driving with the tubes (nuts) fully open.
