🔇 Vance and Hines 21301 Quiet Baffle for Shortshots Staggered and Sideshots Exhaust Systems Review

Installed these baffles on a Fatboy 2000 HD with long straight passes from Vance and Hines. I bought this bike used and I don't think baffles were ever installed in the tubes. The 21301 baffles fit in with no effort which almost made me think I was a smaller size. I believe this is because the tape was wrapped around the fiberglass cover a little tighter and it was a lot easier to install. More difficult to install than I thought but it comes from the previous owner who installed pipes upside down covering metal slats. Ordered these and installed them on my 2001 V&H Short Shots XL883. First let me say I installed them while the tubes were on the bike, using a side stand (not a bike jack or lift). When you receive the blocks they are rusty and that is to be expected. I used engine paint to stop the rust before installing the deflectors. I installed them on Long Shots so I had to order 2.
