Installed these baffles on a Fatboy 2000 HD with long straight passes from Vance and Hines. I bought this bike used and I don't think baffles were ever installed in the tubes. The 21301 baffles fit in with no effort which almost made me think I was a smaller size. I believe this is because the tape was wrapped around the fiberglass cover a little tighter and it was a lot easier to install. They are VERY EASY to install, but I suggest keeping the exhaust system warm to make removing the old deflectors easier. To install them, you must first remove the heat shields. Each tube has a set screw that secures the baffle. Remove it and slide the old one out, put the new one in (the white fluffy covering on the

Good value for money

When you receive the blocks they are rusty and that is to be expected. I used engine paint to stop the rust before installing the deflectors. I installed them on Long Shots so I had to order 2. Very important, the plastic film is there to prevent fibers from escaping, but the baffles should not be installed with plastic film as it will melt and evaporate. Therefore, you need to use metal ties. Do not remove the plastic wrap immediately. Wearing gloves, unroll the film 1 inch at a time. Set the…
