Review on πŸ”‡ Vance and Hines 21301 Quiet Baffle for Shortshots Staggered and Sideshots Exhaust Systems by Kyle Hood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Still loud enough, but not intrusive like before. Include this explanation because it was not possible anywhere.

Installed these baffles on a Fatboy 2000 HD with long straight passes from Vance and Hines. I bought this bike used and I don't think baffles were ever installed in the tubes. The 21301 baffles fit in with no effort which almost made me think I was a smaller size. I believe this is because the tape was wrapped around the fiberglass cover a little tighter and it was a lot easier to install. Insert a couple of "1/2" stainless steel screws to hold them in place and voila, they were installed, 10 minutes max without having to remove the pipes. The old Mustang started, and that deafening sound turned into a pleasant growling Harley roar. Still loud enough, but not intrusive like before. Posting this explanation because I couldn't find anywhere that these baffles fit tubes like the ones I have on my bike. Maybe it will help others if they have similar exhaust systems.
