I've had this knife for about a month now and have given up on all the others. The apple cuts easily. I didn't even realize how dull my other knives were until I tried this one! The knife has a good weight and balance. The handle is strong and the connection between the blade and the handle is very strong. I originally ordered this product as a sample to help me choose a set of kitchen knives for my wedding list. The price seemed too good to be true, but this knife lives up to the expectations! I will be registering the entire Rada cutlery set for my wedding! The only thing I would like to add is that the handle is big enough for a person with big hands. I have very big hands for a woman. (I usually buy men's winter gloves to make sure they fit.) The handle felt a bit small when trying to cut the core out of an apple at an angle, for example. To me, that's true of most paring knives, but I wanted to mention it!
