I love my Dyson, but I'm disappointed that the OEM floorhead that comes with it doesn't pick up as big chunks as Cheerios. You either have to pick them up manually or shred them and pick up the pieces, which really defeats the purpose. After paying $800 for a vacuum cleaner, I couldn't bring myself to pay another $100 for a Dyson brand fluffy head, so I got this copy. As others have pointed out, the attachment is very pivotable, but not that difficult to control. He collects whole Cheerios (and dried peas and all those other discarded baby parts) which is what I've been looking for. I haven't tried the Dyson brand fluffy head so can't say how it compares, but there are two downsides: (1) You have to set the power level to medium or high to get suction, which reduces battery life shortened. and (2) you must suck relatively slowly. You can get through at walking speed with a regular OEM Dyson floorhead, but when I try this brush head it lets at least 50% of the dust and dirt through. If you drive slowly, it takes almost everything.
