Purchased when my Vitamix wasn't working to make pureed baby food. The first thing I made in mashed potatoes was broccoli for my baby. Unlike my Vitamix blender, it was able to make it smooth and creamy. I was very pleased. The stir stick I used in my large metal bowl at home, or I used the blade and bowl that come with it and they both work great! My kid has already given up on mashed potatoes, but I still use it regularly to make other mashed potatoes and other mixed foods. I like to make hummus or nyskream out of it. If you're not familiar with nicecream, I mostly make frozen bananas. For people who can't or don't want a frozen fruit dessert. My favorite are frozen bananas, cocoa powder and some almond milk. Thats very delicious. For those reviewers who say you can't use cold food, I've easily added frozen bananas to the included mixing bowl at least twice a week. I also used a stir stick and a large metal bowl of frozen bananas and it worked great! - I combined hot braised veggies, hot broth, and soaked cashews into a pasta dressing in a mixing bowl. Hot and cold, mixing bowl or stick work great. I haven't had a chance to use the mixer or whisk attachment yet, but I look forward to using them when I need to. Before I bought this I compared it to NutriBullet. After stumbling across NutriBullet reviews, they said the oil would unexpectedly leak into their smoothies before it broke. In no way do I use anything that might put oil in my food or my child's food. So three Nutribullets are enough for me. This blender stick and mixing bowl can do just as much and more than a blender or Nutribullet. The stick is very easy to use and very fast. I love that I don't have to worry about charging like I would with a wireless stick. You just plug it in and go. It's very easy to clean. I wash my mixing bowl and hand glue 99% of the time because it's so quick. I've also washed it in the dishwasher several times and had no problems. I assume this will last for a very, very long time for me. If you're on the fence just buy it, you can always return it because it's Revain right? But trust me, you won't want to like it!
