Bought May 2019 and it no longer mixes. 3-4 times a week is not possible. From the start I thought it was lacking in power, but I had never owned an immersion blender so I had something to compare it to. The label on the unit itself says 300w NOT the 800w which I bought but did not receive. So my mistake is that I didn't check the performance of the device when I bought it. Prospective buyers: Please check the power supply on the body of the device upon receipt.

I am currently using Cuisinart and ordered this which came fairly quickly. I tried it as soon as I arrived. Some of the positives compared to my Cuisinart: 2 attachments, detachable, attachments easy to attach and good looking. What surprised me is that the performance of these was better compared to the Cuisinart (but that might be because mine is older). But overall very attractive, compact and handy. There is a 2 year warranty so I'm not worried about that. Happy with my purchase.

Exactly what I was looking for in a dip fitting. Steel construction, over 500 watts of power, adjustable speed, and a 20-ounce mug are nice touches. There was also a $10 coupon so for $30 it was a no brainer. I made 2 mixed drinks with whole ice cubes and they broke easily with this thing, and I also made about 3 liters of Dutch wine and it turned out great! For 2 years I've wanted to buy a hand blender but couldn't decide if it's worth it. I saw some online and thought it looked like a good option at a reasonable price with some great reviews. I'm expecting a speed ratio of at least 5:1, from good 'stir' to right hitting. Unfortunately, no. The rate variability was 13%. For example without variable speed. I ended up spending $17 on an external speed controller to make it usable. Many problems. I wanted to clean the grinding jar, so I poured some soapy water in and 'chop' on the lowest setting. Purchased when my Vitamix wasn't working to make pureed baby food. The first thing I made in mashed potatoes was broccoli for my baby. Unlike my Vitamix blender, it was able to make it smooth and creamy. I was very pleased.
