Review on Movo GMA100 3.5mm Female Microphone Adapter Cable for GoPro HERO3, HERO3+, and HERO4 Black, White, or Silver Editions (Not Compatible with Any Other Versions) by Jason Ingram

DO NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER! This adapter absolutely ruined all of my documentation on my cross country motorcycle ride and my GoPro Hero 4. Sound seemed good at first but I filmed on the go. I really didn't have a chance to see the audio. When I finally did, I was horrified to find that all of my audio had the interference noise of crickets. This noise got louder on my last couple of takes as if the cable had deteriorated with use. Eventually the sound of the cricket became louder than the recorded sound and the USB port on my GoProp stopped working. After that I couldn't charge my Go Pro and couldn't shoot anymore. I see in my video how the cable eventually killed my Go Pro USB port and the Go Pro mic took over. With this video/audio evidence, I have no doubt that this cable did in fact burn out the USB port on my GoPro camera. The seller was kind enough to refund me for the cable but that in no way fixes my camera is basically useless now and most importantly my video audio is messed up from my only trip. This product shouldn't even be on sale!
