The body of the door lock needs to be modified to hold the lock securely.

The latch handle works great on my 2001 Toyota Tundra. I had to use a small hacksaw to widen the slot where the C clip is held in place. As before the mod, the C-clamp didn't go deep enough to hold the lock. With a little bit of sawing I was able to widen and deepen the groove that the C clamp goes in so that it went deep enough to secure the lock.
