The physical design and idea behind this phone is great. i wanted to love it But actual everyday use of this phone is terrible. The keyboard's keys are definitely hard to press, as one reviewer noted, and they don't produce the normal "tonal sound" you're used to from a phone at all. strange. Ooma says it's a bug but hasn't been fixed for over 3 months or got any other technical response. The phone keeps freezing and not working. Sometimes during a conversation. When you're on a call, you can still talk, but you can't perform any other actions on the phone (including hanging up). You must disconnect your phone and backup battery for it to restart. Sometimes the button indicators do not reflect the current status of the phone. For example, when I press the headset button, it lights up. Sometimes the headset turns on, sometimes the headset button and the speakerphone button light up and the speakerphone turns on, even though I never pressed the speakerphone. So I would definitely recommend NOT buying this Ooma phone. This is like a beta product that has never been fully tested or improved or fixed by Ooma's technical team.
