This striker plate can be adjusted to be more forgiving, allowing warped doors to still latch and latch. But my problem is that my door wobbles and rattles in the frame because there is play between the edge of the strike plate hole and the latch when the door is closed. Unfortunately, given the way the strike plate adjusts, it couldn't do anything to make the fit tighter. So if your problem is that you need to make the door more forgiving, this is a good solution; If you need to tighten the fit between the latch and plate, this latch plate will not help. As my issue was the last one (a rattling door) I can only give this product three stars and hope future designs will correct both directions equally.
