I prefer the slide top over the popular screw tops as it allows more room to fill (or empty) liquids and is a much better guarantee that no liquid will spill. In my experience, the screw caps unscrew with ease, and as soon as you turn the smallest part, a quarter of the reservoir is now inside the pack. Fits most hydration packs and backpacks. , hiking backpacks and backpacks. The only downside (and a small one) and also a tip I'd like to share is that you need to rinse your backpack several times before using it for the first time, otherwise your water will taste a bit chemical. (Although it won't hurt you).
