They were easy to clean

We took them on a 3 day hike up the Rootburn Trail. I have no regrets that we took such large water bubbles! They were easy to clean, easy to fill even with a pump, and didn't leak at all. YouTube has videos explaining how to use them; I definitely recommend checking it out for all the little bubble tricks/features.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Dull packaging

I really love my HydraPak

I've been using CamelBaks for decades, but this HydraPak badder has an excellent locking system. Its slide lock mechanism is much simpler than the CB swing mechanism. And it seems like losing HP is impossible no matter how hard they push. HP is more flexible. This is my second as I have a smaller version for the winter (when I'm less thirsty).

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Functionality

Great product, enough water for my needs

Great product, enough water for my needs, very easy to fill and clean due to the wide opening and releases water very well. I've read some reviews where people had trouble pouring water with their hands instead of their mouth; I didn't have that experience. I was able to use it as a hydration pack and also as a water dispenser at camp.

Not the best choice for hiking

I was initially excited about this product. The design is very good and well thought out. I love the easy cleaning port and the magnetic clip that automatically snaps the hose into place. Was close to giving this product 5 stars and then on my second trip the chatter pierced. There was nothing sharp in my backpack and it is a frameless ultralight backpack. It was a real shame, it turned out the clip was rubbing against the top corner of the bag and leaking after 15 miles on the AT. The water…

Awesome water bubble for every experience level.

Good price, fast delivery, neat packaging. The product itself works phenomenally. I prefer the slide top over the popular screw tops as it allows more room to fill (or empty) liquids and is a much better guarantee that no liquid will spill. In my experience, the screw caps unscrew with ease, and as soon as you turn the smallest part, a quarter of the reservoir is now inside the pack. Fits most hydration packs and backpacks. , hiking backpacks and backpacks. The only downside (and a small one)…

Bad plastic welding: a cautionary tale.

This is the second time I've bought this tank which I mainly use for endurance runs (2+ hours) and/or hiking. The best value for money tank for general use. The hose is detachable, has a high-quality valve and even comes with a nifty magnetic mount to keep the tip of your mouth under control while running. Look carefully at the picture. You'll see this blue line running down the center of the bubble. This is the internal connection that helps the bladder hold its shape in "low volume mode"…
