The cable was damaged in transit as the unit is heavy however you can easily detach this harness from the main assembly and reuse the existing harness. Significantly simplifies installation. Initially I had no way of programming new keys, so I simply removed the immobilizer ring from the ignition key and attached it to the non-metallic part of the cover, attaching my original key to it. The new keys work perfectly. Autel's AP200 scanner is highly recommended for programming your new keys if the immobilizer function is important to you (disables engine starting if no wrong key or no key is detected).
