This is a bluetooth adapter and it does the job perfectly. Here's the problem, or at least the problem for me: It connects automatically. "Automatic" is actually the wrong term. It suppresses all other Bluetooth connections and pushes them out of the way. It grabs every other connection and overwrites it. Okay, that's dramatic, but what does it matter: connect to another Bluetooth device and then be within range of that device? This device will connect and boot you from another connection. Connect to my Bluetooth speaker while listening to music. Then suddenly my phone connects to this Logitech. I listen to music via Bluetooth in my car. I'm pulling into my driveway and all of a sudden I'm not listening to music because my phone is connected to this Logitech in the house. Logitech is always looking for connectivity. Even if you don't connect to anything else, your phone will automatically connect to this Logictech and therefore all audio on your phone will stop working until you turn off Bluetooth. It's pretty annoying. As a result, I have to forget the Bluetooth device on my phone when I'm done using that device, otherwise it just tries to connect to that device. I think I could turn off this Logitech when I don't want to use it, except it doesn't have a power button so you have to turn off Logitech, but it's a bit of a hassle and I don't have one on. The idea when I bought this Logitech was to connect it to my main stereo in the living room - a pre Bluetooth old school stereo. When I want to listen through my big stereo, I join this Logitech. When I don't want to hear a big stereo, I disconnect and connect to something else or nothing. But that's not an option - Logitech always wants to automatically connect to whatever device it's connected to. None of my other Bluetooth devices do this except in the car, but it makes sense to do it in the car as it's only on when the car is on, and you can safely assume you'll want to connect your phone when the car is on, the car bluetooth. In any case. It's a hassle and means you have to either unplug this Logitech every time or unpair it on your phone (or forget to pair it). If I had known that, I would have bought a different model.
