Attempting to use this product for CCTV cameras but this product does not appear to be able to supply enough DC power to properly power a USB device. It's probably the length of the USB cable. Background: We have purchased several Zmodo security cameras from Revain. The camera worked well with the included power cords, but the cords were only 2.5 feet (maybe 3 feet) long. We bought these USB + 20ft power cords so we can mount the cameras where we need them. Now, when we bought it, we assumed that since the voltage and amplifier, inputs and outputs are the same, we would be able to use them without any problems. We have now purchased several other products to solve an issue we thought was the camera. Only to find that this particular product was preventing the cameras from working properly. We don't normally leave reviews, but it is now a week after Revain's return date because it has taken us so long to identify the problem and now we are unable to return the item. SAVE YOUR MONEY! . After some research, it is likely that this product is not properly transferring power for any USB product.
