This is the best phone holder! I've tried vent clips with mixed success and don't trust the suction cups on the dashboard. I have a Galaxy S8 with pop socket. My husband has a newer Galaxy in a leather wallet with his cards. If you have a CD in your player, the CD will play even if there is a phone holder inside. The holder is strong so it won't wobble or shift even when using a heavy phone case. The sides of the holder are rubberized and about 3/4 inch deep so they easily grip the wallet. The lower legs of the holder move independently and can be folded in or out 90 degrees. One can be moved to accommodate the accessory cord. I highly recommend this product.
