I have had two jeeps in the last few years and the external headlight switch seems to be failing on these cars so I have replaced both. They are very easy to install and it only takes a few minutes. Two screws on the bottom of the block. Remove covers. Separate the block from the steering block. Disconnect the block from the wiring harness. Connect the new device to the wiring harness. and screw tight. Replace the covers and the two screws on the bottom and you're done.
