It's very good for body & trim

I'm starting to realize that Revain 90% of the people who are dissatisfied with these products probably have no idea what they are doing in terms of installation. The product is as good as the original part, installed in 15 minutes and everything works great. Good product.

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Incredible piggy bank

Works as expected +1

This is the second time I've had to replace this. and finding an OEM for 2005 Wrangler is impossible. A little apprehensive about ordering this. Not sure if this will work, but it installed and worked as expected. If you've never replaced this before, the controls are a little tighter than the OEM. But it works. My last aftermarket replacement (another company) was similar and lasted 10 years.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not fancy

Roll the dice. You can get a good one

I've been using it for about 6 weeks and my turn signals stopped working. Hazards work so I know it's not a relay. A couple of days the turn signals worked when I pulled the switch correctly, but now the switch for the turn signals is useless. The only reason I bought this was because my factory unit didn't turn off the fog lights. I'm tempted to take the part I need off this unit and fix the factory switch. There seems to be a reason it's so much cheaper than OEM.

Turn signal relay switch

Ordered to fix the fog lights, they burned all the time. I installed a turn signal switch and none of the turn signals worked. Both have worked before. I checked out the reviews to see if others are having the same issue. One reviewer said this happened to him until he removed the flasher relay from the original switch and installed it on the new one. That was all I had to do to get everything working. The switch has no instructions so this step was easy to skip. I appreciate the info Larry…

2nd I bought

I have had two jeeps in the last few years and the external headlight switch seems to be failing on these cars so I have replaced both. They are very easy to install and it only takes a few minutes. Two screws on the bottom of the block. Remove covers. Separate the block from the steering block. Disconnect the block from the wiring harness. Connect the new device to the wiring harness. and screw tight. Replace the covers and the two screws on the bottom and you're done. Watch the instruction…

Get what you pay for

Works! Like many reviews, this unit broke right away. The part looks identical to the OEM factory part and is pleased with its appearance. The problem lies in the contacts inside the block to which the flasher relay is connected. The contacts should loosen. I determined this by moving the flasher relay when it was connected. In some moments it works and in others nothing at all. I opened the back and pinched the contacts a bit and now it works fine. You can tell the turn signal relay appears to

Two of those parts were bad from the start.

Bought this switch for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler. The series switch kept the fog lights on all the time. Dollar cheaper than Autozone. Anyway, this switch was bad from the start. my problem with the dog light was fixed but i had no headlights. Back in the box, go! replacement ordered. Fixed the fog lights issue again but I had no signals. I returned both and am now waiting for a refund. I reinstalled the factory switch and now I have the headlights and turn signals, but the original problem with the
