This is a funnel that attaches to a portafilter but fits on the base of the Breville Barista Express coffee grinder. Attach it, grind once, press the coffee firmly, remove the funnel and brew. It's durable, fits perfectly, and does exactly what you need it to. The Breville grinder is reportedly designed so that you can simply insert the filter into the grinder, grind, pound, and brew. In practice, this doesn't work because the soil before tamping is very loose and overflows. Instead, you end up grinding/pounding, grinding/pounding, grinding/pounding, and then you're done. This funnel fixes that. A regular funnel won't work either as it won't fit in a coffee grinder like this. You can awkwardly get under the grinder, but it's a lot easier.
