I've spent a year using cheaper parts. The engine will not start when you accelerate. It takes several attempts (5-7 or more). It starts but won't start like the engine is flooded. I finally found that the valve stayed open and a light tap was enough to close it. For example, put it on the table after removing it. I would use a 9 volt battery and the device would work as expected every time. The next time you fill up, it stays open again. I bought this new valve and it works great. The engine starts immediately after the gas is supplied. Possibly cheaper valves have weaker springs that close the valve. Maybe driving into a pothole before refueling is enough to close the valve. As tempting as the lower prices are, if you want to be sure you'll fix this problem without starting after gas, buy a genuine OEM part.
