I wish it was cheaper but I bought this to try and clear the code I'm getting on my 02" BMW 540i. EASY installation, perfect fit. The code is not returned and the fuel consumption has increased dramatically! Apparently you get terrible fuel economy when they fail and I've looked into that. Ever since I replaced this - works great, no codes, no issues! VERY happy with this purchase!

Replaced this valve on a 2003 530i. The original valve was stuck open (fuel vapor flowed through the valve when the car was not running). After refueling, the car does not start well. I was able to clean and open/close the original with the PSU but put in this new one. Easy to swap out, no more check engine light and no more hard starts after refueling. Also replace the fuel tank cap gasket. I found a blue seal for a Mercedes baseball cap on Amazon. Fits perfectly.

Before locating this part in Revain I contacted two local major parts dealers and their price was about a third higher than the price at the dealer much above. For my 2004 BMW 325I which is an e46 with an M54 engine. I received code P0444 and code P0442. I replaced the gas cap ring first, then bought a cheaper version of the flush valve because it had good reviews. Guilty. Some time passed, and then a strange fuel cap light came on on the dash. I've spent a year using cheaper parts. The engine will not start when you accelerate. It takes several attempts (5-7 or more). It starts but won't start like the engine is flooded.
