2001 BMW 5 Series 525i E39 , Cured my check engine car and passed MOT. This purge valve has eliminated many starting, hard starting, rough idle and stalling problems. I highly recommend starting here, it can save you a lot of time and money. I adjusted my engine because I figured that would be the adjustment that would fix the problems. New intake air filter, intake boot, intake air temperature sensor, coils, spark plugs, injectors, etc. No check engine light seen since April 2021. It literally took 5 minutes to replace. I didn't have to remove anything, don't overdo the install and don't pull on the hose it connects to, take your time, it's an easy install. The flush valve was supplied in a factory sealed BMW box.
