Not as handy but still good

When I installed it on my 2nd generation Apple Pencil it was pretty easy. It was also easy to remove by simply sliding it down. I do have an iPad case, however, and in the area where the Apple Pencil typically charges, my case is much thinner than the rest. Although the pictures say there shouldn't be any obstructions when charging, I don't want to every time removing the silicone grip when I want to charge the pen and/and not removing the case every time I need to charge my pen. Another issue is the double tap feature. Without the grip, I could double-tap anywhere on the bottom of the stylus with the Apple Pencil, whether it was the flat side of the stylus, but the double-tap feature still worked. However, once the grip is put on, the double-tap function only works on the flat side of the grip. Which is understandable, because this is the thinnest point on the handle. If you're used to double-tapping the flat side of your Apple Pencil, there's really no problem. However, if you also have a case on your iPad and want to charge it using the grip, this won't let you do so, so you'll have to either remove the case or remove the charging handle. If you don't want to remove your iPad case or stylus every time you just want to charge and/or double-tap the flat side of the stylus, I recommend getting a full-stylus case. because they are slightly thinner which means they still charge through the case, fit in the pencil case slot and the double tap feature still allows you to double tap any area on the bottom of the pen with the case. . I also wanted to mention that if you have a pencil case slot in your iPad case, the stylus and Apple Pencil will not fit. So you have to remove the stylus and put the stylus back in. I also wanted to point out that my iPad case is flexible yet very durable, so not totally rigid.
