Use on a bench and various items of furniture in the shop. Mixes like any other water based polish. We like to use a synthetic brush with good flags. Thin coats are what you need. Who can prove it's 33% more durable? But "soft touch" is a unique feature, if you cover the upper with steel wool it becomes velvety. This can be good or bad depending on the product. This is the cheapest water based polish I've found so I went with it. I haven't tested how its chemical resistance compares to other brands, but will have it on hand for lighter projects. Attempting to go "green" with water-based paints, and with my sensitivity to harsh chemicals, it's a pleasure to use. The product works perfectly, whoever has problems with it did not use water-based polishes, ie user error cannot be related to the product itself. If I could have trusted the durability (chemistry, scratches etc.) it would have been 5 stars.
