This product is a great solution to your ceiling fan remote control bracket need. Apparently they are no longer supplied by fan manufacturers. This product does not need to be permanently attached to the wall. It fits snugly into the existing light switch cover holding it in place. The only downside was that when assembling the holder, the two pieces "snapped" together. The fear of breaking it arises because the two sides are not aligned smoothly. I overcame my fear and connected the two pieces together and the two pieces snapped together without either piece breaking. The seller of this product is also excellent. Delivery on time as expected.
