It's just brilliant

I don't use the term 'brilliant' very often, but this thing is brilliant. It mounts next to the switch and is held on the switch cover. No extra screws, glue, tape, nails, welding, or a kid standing at the switch and holding the remote. It took me 2 minutes to build and 2 minutes to install. If you need to install ceiling fan remote controller, this is your best choice. A word from the manufacturer: if you could do something similar, but instead install it above or below the switch, I would be…

Answer for new ceiling fans that don't come with a remote control bracket

This product is a great solution to your ceiling fan remote control bracket need. Apparently they are no longer supplied by fan manufacturers. This product does not need to be permanently attached to the wall. It fits snugly into the existing light switch cover holding it in place. The only downside was that when assembling the holder, the two pieces "snapped" together. The fear of breaking it arises because the two sides are not aligned smoothly. Works but light switch cover no longer flush with wall

The product works in the sense that it holds my remote control so it does what I bought it for. The problem is that because of its thickness, my light switch cover no longer hugs the wall it's installed on - the part holding this holder is thin, but not thin enough to hold the panel flush. . with a wall. Frustrating (and surprised others didn't mention this) - maybe it's just an issue with my switch plate design, but it's a pretty standard switch plate like the one in the main picture. If I had
