The product works in the sense that it holds my remote control so it does what I bought it for. The problem is that because of its thickness, my light switch cover no longer hugs the wall it's installed on - the part holding this holder is thin, but not thin enough to hold the panel flush. . with a wall. Frustrating (and surprised others didn't mention this) - maybe it's just an issue with my switch plate design, but it's a pretty standard switch plate like the one in the main picture. If I had known this was going to happen I would have preferred to buy a threaded CVT.
