Photos of my old hinges when removed, after installation and you can see the plastic plugs need to be removed first. The most annoying part was removing the plastic plugs on each hinge. All 50 took about an hour with the help of pliers and a cordless drill (the dowels are simply unscrewed from the hinge). It would be better if they were included separately like the other screw set. I ended up reusing all of my original/old screws to avoid creating and ruining the already threaded holes in my cab doors and frame. I highly recommend adding a cabinet door hinge to each door. This process is easier than taking the whole door off and going back to align the doors so they are the correct height. I have different size doors on my closets and they fit all different size doors perfectly except for one door on a 24" closet. Although it doesn't close all the way, the size of this door isn't as responsive as a door. Smaller doors due to the size and weight of this door. If you have a lot of large doors, you may need a stronger hinge. I only have 2 large doors and they work great with no slamming noise. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and can only recommend this product.
