These connectors are a godsend when you need to connect wires for a project. You can use them to join two smaller cables into one larger cable instead of buying a longer cable. However, I had some trouble getting the designs to fit nicely over the wire/plug connections as they are a bit larger than a wire instead. I usually use them to move my work from a smaller wire to a larger wire to create a magic loop. To do this, connect one end of the working cable to the cable connector, and then connect the other end of the connector to the longer cable. Then connect the longer cable to the working needle. After that you can move all your live stitches along the cables and over the cable connector so they are just on the longer cable. Simply remove the cord connector and short cord from the needle, attach vibrant stitches to the long cord and TA-DA, you're ready for the magic loop.
