Review on 🌬️ Nordic Pure 16x25x2M12 3 Pleated Air Filter for Optimal Conditioning by Mariqn Carey

I'm really not sure what's wrong with this product but two weeks after installing this filter my oven (two years old so almost new) started giving overheating/airflow error codes. I had a long argument with the seller who was really just "enlightening" me and trying to convince me that my oven was at fault. Okay, I'm an engineer but not in HVAC so I called a certified HVAC technician. I have examined the firebox and found no problems whatsoever in the firebox (exhaust is clean, fan works, all sensors work, flame is perfect, etc.). But he immediately said after looking at the Nordic Pure filters that they were too thick. I've been using another finer filter with the same MERV for a few weeks now and everything works fine. My only guess (but that's just a guess) is that the MERV values reported by Nordic Pure differ from the actual MERV values. Perhaps, in fairness, the manufacturer now wants to test their machines, specifically how MERV is measured? I did my homework and paid an additional $80 to have my air conditioner checked. The manufacturer also refused to return it, citing some sort of agreement between them and Revain as the reason for this refusal (which I as a buyer don't care and should be offered some sort of support if there's a problem with the new product). . So there will be no more Nordic Pure for me in the future.
